How does Naapu work?
Are you still unfamiliar with Naapu? No problem! On this page you will find the most relevant instructions for using Naapu.
1) Download Naapu
Naapu is a mobile app that you can download from your app store. Naapu is available in the Google Play Store and the App Store.
2) Learn about Naapu as a guest
After opening the application, you can access the home page of Naapu without logging in. Without logging in, you can get a taste of Naapu's functions. Among other things, you can view the published posts in your neighborhood and check out Naapu's "Good to know" -page.
3) Sign up
When you want to access all the functions of Naapu, you will need to log in. You can easily sign in with your email address or an existing Google account. By logging in, you can publish posts, message your neighbors, and edit your profile!
4) Start Naapu!
You're ready to get started with Naapu. Next, we will go through the functions of Naapu.5) Home page
Naapu's home page is the digital notice board of your neighborhood. On the home page, you can browse published listings in your area.
Firstly, you can customize the home page. (1) At the top of the home page, you will see the area from which posts are displayed. By pressing this bar, you can also set the distance at which you want to see posts. You can also tap the bar to change your location so that you can also see posts in another area. (2) By default, the home page will display both offers and requests for help or services. However, you can filter this setting to see only requests or offers.
(3) On the home page, you will see condensed information about the published post. You'll see the title, photo, category, distance, and time when the post was published.
In the bottom bar of the home page you will find the Naapu's chat function (4), the "Add post" button (5), your profile (6) and additional information (7). In addition, in the upper right corner of the front page (8) you will find concise information on the use of Naapu.
6) Publish your post
To publish a post, start by tapping the "Add post" button (5). The first thing you need to do is select the type of post. The post can be categorised as a request or an offer. Select "Request" to ask for help or service. If you want to offer help or a service, select "Offer".
Next, you will need to provide a title for your post. You can then enter more detailed information about your post, such as practical details of the help or service. For example, if you offer window cleaning, you can write that you have your own equipment. You can also set the compensation you request for the service you provide. The description of the post does not have to contain all the details, as they can be agreed in Naapu's chat.
You can also set a specific compensation to your post. In this way, you can easily communicate to your neighbors if there is any compensation associated with the implementation of the help or service. You can add information to your post that the compensation for the implementation of the help or service is 1) Free 2) Negotiable 3) One-time compensation or 4) Hourly compensation.
You can then add a photo or photos to your post. For example, if you ask for help with yard work, you can attach a photo of your yard to the post. Your profile picture will appear on the post if you don't add a photo.
Lastly, you will need to choose the area you want to publish the post to. By default, the distance of your post in relation to other Naapu users is determined by your current location. If you want, you can also publish your post to another location.
